About Me

Anna_Lawrence_Female_British_Voice_over_Artist_MedicalNarration

You need a female voice over artist that's easy to work with, versatile and great at taking direction - That's Me!

As the little girl who never stopped talking, it's hardly surprising that I made being a Voiceover my career!

I initially set out on a career in Acting having trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I graduated with a 1st class honours degree and then spent a couple of lovely years working in the West End on 'The 39 Steps' and 'Oliver!' and on UK and International Tours of 'The Sound of Music'. If you haven't worked it out already, I'm also a singer!

But it wasn't too long before I discovered my love of voiceover and I found my true calling and comfort zone in the vocal booth. Perhaps I will return to the stage one day, but right now, I'm exactly where I want to be - firmly established as one of the most trusted Female Voiceovers in the UK.

In fact you've probably heard my voice yourself. Whether it's on an Amazon Christmas ad, introducing acts on Britain's Got Talent, on the M&S Instore Radio or explaining healthcare procedures for the NHS; in a multitude of voiceover genres, my warm and well-spoken British RP voice is trusted by brands large and small.

With over a decade of voiceover experience behind me, I have built up a strong client list who return to me time and again when they require a female voiceover artist. The reason? I'm precise, rehearsed and passionate about what I voice. I'm also a lot of fun! My voiceover style is Neutral 20s-30s clear, warm, trustworthy, conversational and approachable.

My favourite voiceovers to record are Medical Voiceovers and Corporate and Business Voiceovers but I also work regularly in Commercials and in the following voice genres: E-Learning, Dubbing, Children's Voiceover, Narration and English Language Tapes (both spoken and sung.) I love the variety in voice over work. No two days are the same.

I work daily with brands and companies of all shapes and sizes but just a few you may recognise include Amazon, Santander, Visa, Disney, L’Oréal, Bosch, Mercedes Benz and Nestlé. In recent years I have been particularly in demand in the genre of Medical Narration Voiceover with frequent clients including GSK, Allergan, Astellas, Boehringer Ingelheim, GenesisCare, Bayer and Vertex Pharmaceuticals.

Originally from Surrey, I now live in Rayleigh, just outside London with my husband and two girls where I have a fully equipped, broadcast-quality studio. It allows me to put the needs of my clients first, recording at a time to suit them with a fast and convenient turnaround time. It also saves them significant costs in studio hire without compromising on sound and quality. Having said that, I'm only a 40 minute train ride from London and always happy to take a trip into town to record at a studio of your choice if you'd like to attend a session or meet in person to discuss your female voiceover needs.

Whether on stage or in a vocal booth, I love to tell stories and will take great pride in bringing your story to life.
